Bullet For My Valentine and Trivium Celebrate two Decades with The Poisoned Ascendancy UK Tour

Both bands will play their respective full length debuts in full for a special UK headlining run to mark the 20th anniversary of the seminal releases.

Punctuating a suggestive teaser rollout, the tandem of Bullet For My Valentine and Trivium have announced plans to join forces for The Poisoned Ascendency Tour. The announcement confirms the first leg of the run will take place in the UK in January 2025 and will mark the 20th anniversary of both bands' lauded full length debut studio albums. 

In celebration of the significant milestone, both Bullet For My Valentine and Trivium will be performing their debut albums, The Poison and Ascendency respectively, in full for each night of the run. Kicking off the ambitiously planned tour, the Poisoned Ascendency Tour will kick off in Cardiff and land in Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and conclude the UK leg with a massive evening at London's O2 Arena. 

To better frame the scope and significance of the tour, both Trivium and Bullet For My Valentine participated in a discussion with veteran music journalist Alexander Milas. Both bands discussed how their paths crossed early in their careers and how despite a very similar trajectory, the pairing of the two bands for a proper tour hadn't materialized until now. 

Additionally, Trivium frontman Matt Heafy explained that starting the tour out in the UK was especially important, given that the region was instrumental in the initial success of the band. He explained that as fans in the UK began taking to Trivium a name he had always heard was Bullet For My Valentine.  The bands would begins a lasting friendship and creative kinship that would eventually lead to such a monumental co-headlining tour some two decades later.

Tickets for the Poisoned Ascendency Tour UK are set to go on sale March 1st at 10am local time. More dates are expected to the announced in the coming months. See the confirmed dates thus far below.
